【Design Inspiration】

Dragonfly Memories is inspired by the joyful memories of childhood, warm summer afternoons spent watching dragonflies dance gracefully above the water.

Richly layered with shimmering sequins, seed beads and crystals, the embroidery captures the brilliance and movement of dragonfly wings. Fine copper wire is stitched along the edges of the wings to create elegant structure while preserving their delicate lightness.

Blending nostalgia with French haute couture craftsmanship, this brooch transforms a treasured childhood memory into a refined piece of wearable art.

Designed for students with basic Lunéville crochet embroidery experience, this workshop explores advanced couture embroidery techniques through the creation of an intricate dragonfly brooch. You'll learn how to combine crochet embroidery, layered embellishment and structural wire techniques to create a lightweight brooch rich in texture, movement and detail.
